On May 30, 2024, Monterey County Weekly's Morsels column covered the opening of International Cafe, the family's sister café at 296 Lighthouse Avenue.
The column describes a sit-down room serving gyro, shawarma, falafel and Turkish coffee — the same counter food as the market, two blocks away. The café is where we host gatherings of 20 to 25.
